In their spring semester of junior year and fall semester of senior year, all ESA students take a College Bound class with our college counselor, Meghan Gray. Students learn about different types of colleges, work on college applications, and learn career skills such as writing resumes.

Brianna Paulino Earns President’s List Honors
SUNY Canton President Zvi Szafran congratulates Brianna Paulino class of 2017 for earning the highest of honors during the fall 2017 semester. “I’m proud that you’ve earned the right to be named to the SUNY Canton President’s List,” Szafran said. “You’ve demonstrated a commitment to your academic studies and I’m proud of your accomplishments. Isa Ghit Earns President’s List Honors
Isa Ghit of New York, NY was recently named to the President’s List at SUNY Potsdam. Ghit, whose major is Theatre , was among 882 SUNY Potsdam students who were honored for academic excellence in the Fall 2017 semester. College President Dr. Kristin G. Esterberg recognized the students for earning top marks. To achieve the honor of being on the President’s List, each student must have satisfactorily completed 12 numerically-graded semester hours, with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Fatoumata Ouattara Named to Fall 2017 Dean’s List
Fatoumata Ouattara class of 2017, was among 1,534 SUNY Oneonta students who earned Dean’s List honors for the fall 2017 semester. To qualify for the Dean’s List, a student must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.

Brian Duran Recognized at EOP Honors Convocation
Brian Duran class of 2017, will be recognized at Buffalo State’s annual Arthur O. Eve Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) Honors Convocation. Duran was among the students who achieved a 3.0 GPA during the spring or fall 2017 semester, or who has a a cumulative 3.0 GPA for the 2017 calendar year.

New York On Tech is a non-profit organization seeking to prepare the next generation of technology leaders emerging from NYC. Through their TECH360 Squad program, sophomores and juniors in NYC high schools participate in a free, 10 week after-school technology program.
FREE Museum of Natural History Classes – Application Deadline September 15th
Every year, the After School Program (ASP) at the Museum of Natural History offers courses to New York City high school students interested in the sciences. There are courses in astrophysics, earth science, genetics, and more.

The Ranger Conservation Corps (RCC) is an urban environmental internship for high school students. RCC participants work on environmental restoration in Forever Wild sites located in our flagship parks.
