PARENT ASSOCIATION

Welcome to Essex Street Academy
PARENT ASSOCIATION

As ESA parents and teachers we are all members of the ESA Parent Association.  The ESA Parent Association is committed to promoting and supporting the ESA educational experience by fostering a spirit of community through open communication and cooperation between parents, students and faculty.  We are a 501(c)(3) and help insure that all ESA parents are engaged, well-informed partners with the ESA administration and faculty through a variety of programming. We are providing financial support for educational and afterschool supplies & to keep the following enrichment activities for students accessible and affordable for all:

  • After School club supplies and travel expenses for clubs like, Boxing, Film Club, GSA, and the Restorative Justice Action Team
  • After School sports team supplies including uniforms
  • Equipment purchases such as instruments, body mics, and paint for Music, Theater and Art Programs
  • Food for activities (such as ESA Ambassadors) that keep students at school through dinner
  • Teacher and Staff Appreciation events
  • Grants for the annual Big Sib/Frost Valley Retreat
  • Subsidizing graduation activities to keep them affordable for all

We hope to continue to support these activities, and this would not be possible without your continued engagement and contributions.
